It all began back in 2009 in the bustling halls of a well-known Tampa mall – Westshore Plaza. I, Ozzie, started my journey with a tiny kiosk where I sold fairy tutus, wings, and my own creative children’s costumes. I had a passion for design and loved crafting unique pieces, especially my first hand-tie tutu on a crochet headband — a little idea that I believed no one else had thought of at the time. Seeing people stop in awe and hear their compliments was the first sign that I was onto something special.

As the years went by, that little kiosk grew into our first brick-and-mortar store. From there, we expanded to other well-loved malls in Tampa, carrying brands like Mud Pie and Gund, alongside our own exclusive creations. The hard work, creativity, and love we poured into our designs made us stand out. But when COVID hit, like many others, we pivoted online, doubling down on our brand, Lily and Max.

Today, I take immense pride in the fact that over 95% of our products feature our own tags, which we design, create, and finalize in our Tampa workshop with our trusted sewing partners. Our collections are crafted with care—think soft bamboo baby gowns and rompers, cozy matching mommy robes, Halloween costumes that bring smiles, and one-of-a-kind birthday outfits that make every celebration special.

What makes Lily and Max truly unique is our dedicated designer (me!), pours her heart into every piece, crafting clothes that are not only beautiful but are also comfortable and meaningful. My husband, Sonny, has always been by my side—his endless encouragement and support keep me inspired every day. Our motto, “Little ones’ Big dreams,” guides everything we do. We love listening to your ideas and turning them into delightful, high-quality clothing. Our goal is to bring your dreams for your children’s wardrobe to life with love, creativity, and attention to detail.
